Pita Basket

Review

As the Hungry Canadian secret food critic, I recently dined at Pita Basket in Airdrie, Alberta.

Pita Basket Airdrie stands out with its traditional Lebanese menu and the renowned Chef Ro at the helm. Pita Basket's kitchen runs like a tightly run ship, with quality control and consistency at the forefront of its operations.

The pita wraps are a must-try; I indulged in the chicken shawarma wrap topped with lettuce, tomato, pickles, banana peppers, and their sweet sauce. The wrap was mouth-watering and filling.

The all-star dish, cheesy fries, was favoured by several other diners. They were crispy, lightly salted, and loaded with cheesy goodness. The addition of garlic sauce on each corner of the dish was the cherry on top.

However, I felt rushed to make my order and not overstay. The line quickly grew behind me, leaving me pressured to make quick decisions. The saving grace was that the staff were pleasant throughout the entire experience and kept a friendly smile.

Overall, Pita Basket Airdrie is a unique dining experience that I recommend trying. Just be prepared to move through your order quickly. Hungry Canadian rates them 4/5.
